The striker will need several weeks to match the physical condition and preparation level of his teammates, who are already a month into their work. That means he is unlikely to feature in the opening match. Claudio Giráldez's side will train daily at 11 a.m. for the rest of the week.
Iglesias has been a key player for Celta in the last two seasons, scoring 29 goals in 89 official matches across La Liga, Europa League and Copa del Rey. Beyond returning to training, the World Cup champion will also receive various tributes throughout the coming weeks, with one planned in Vigo at the end of September.
