Brest sign young Belgian Nonge from Turkish club

Stade Brestois have officially announced the arrival of Belgian midfielder Joseph Nonge, according to the club's statement. The 21-year-old joins from Kocaelispor, the Turkish side that will receive approximately €600,000 in the deal.

Nonge has signed a contract until the summer of 2029, with an additional one-year option. The Belgian U-21 international, who has earned 4 caps for the Red Devils, is a box-to-box midfielder capable of covering ground in midfield.

The Brussels-born player joined Juventus' youth academy in 2021 at age 16 but failed to establish himself in Turin, making just 4 Serie A appearances. He also spent six months on loan at Estac Troyes earlier this season. His time in Turkey saw him gain valuable minutes with 29 matches and one goal, and he now aims to flourish in a top-five European league.
