The Italian club, qualified for the Champions League, seeks to strengthen its attack with the 26-year-old Algerian international.
Como, having secured their spot in the next Champions League after a strong season in Serie A, has turned its attention to Amine Gouiri. According to L'Équipe, the Italian side has positioned itself with serious interest in the Algerian international, currently at Marseille, and the 26-year-old striker.
This is not the first time Gouiri has caught the eye of Serie A clubs. Back in January, Juventus had already sounded out the OM forward to bolster their attack, but Marseille shut down the possibility. Now, with summer transfer activity in full swing, Como is reviving the interest from Italian football in the winger.
From Marseille's perspective, the sporting director is working to reinforce their attack, which has been weakened by several departures. Beyond monitoring Gouiri, the French club has also inquired about other attacking talents such as Ivorian Hyllarion Goore, from Gent, just 20 years old.
