The Ivorian forward returns to Selhurst Park on loan for the season after his stint at Aston Villa.
Evann Guessand is back at Crystal Palace. The 25-year-old forward joins on a season-long loan from Aston Villa, as reported by BBC Sport.
Guessand already knows Selhurst Park well — he was a key player in Palace's second half of last season, helping them win the Conference League in May. This return comes after a turbulent year: signed by Villa last August for £26m, he struggled early on with just two goals in 21 appearances. His January move to Palace revived his season — he scored his first Premier League goal against Wolves and featured in the Conference League final victory over Rayo Vallecano.
The deal includes a conditional obligation to buy for Villa, while Palace hold an option to purchase. Guessand has just returned from the summer World Cup with Ivory Coast, following pre-season training with the Villans.
