Dani Sánchez to leave Málaga

Dani Sánchez will not continue at Málaga next season. Radio MARCA Málaga has confirmed that the left-back will leave the blanquiazul outfit before the transfer window closes in September, after the club informed him he is not part of Loren Juarros' plans or the coaching staff's project.

The player concludes a three-season spell at Martiricos, despite still having a contract until June 2027. The decision has disappointed the footballer, who has already accepted that he must find a new destination and is weighing up the available options.

In Spain, LaLiga Hypermotion clubs such as Córdoba, Cádiz, Sabadell and Eldense have contacted the left-back to learn about conditions for a possible move, with conversations intensifying over the past week. But opportunities extend beyond Spain: Sánchez also holds offers from Portugal, the Netherlands and Germany.

The Málaga native will depart with recognition from the fanbase for his commitment and behaviour in the dressing room, though there is debate over whether he was ready to compete at the highest level in Primera División.
