Cadiz loan midfielder Moussa Diakité to Çaykur Rizespor with an option to buy.
Cadiz have confirmed on Friday the loan move of Malian midfielder Moussa Diakité to Turkish outfit Çaykur Rizespor, the club announced. The deal includes a purchase option for the Turkish side.
Diakité, aged 22, departs after two seasons at the Cadiz side, during which he made 58 appearances — 46 of them as a starter —. The player arrived at Cadiz at 17 years old and spent several seasons in the reserve team before stepping up to the first team in the 2024-25 campaign under Paco López. He has since worked with several managers: Gaizka Garitano, Sergio González and Imanol Idiakez.
In the same transfer operation, Cadiz have also loaned forward Ismael Álvarez to Rayo Majadahonda until the end of the season. The Seville-born winger made 13 appearances with Cadiz's reserve team in the first half of last season, recording five goals and four assists, and was subsequently loaned out to Atlético Sanluqueño, where he managed two goals and one assist in 12 matches.
