Diego Rico joins Osasuna on one-year deal

Diego Rico continues in LaLiga but changes colours. The left-back has officially signed for Osasuna from Getafe, as announced by the Navarran club through its official channels. The Burgos-born defender has signed a one-year deal with a €10 million release clause and becomes the second signing for the rojillos after Jonathan Dubasin.

Rico will compete for the starting spot with Abel Bretones. Developed in Burgos, the full-back boasts solid experience in Spain's top flight, having played for Leganés, Bournemouth, Real Sociedad and Getafe. "Osasuna is a tremendous club, I've been facing them my whole career," the defender said. "I hope to bring experience and help as much as possible with humility and hard work to achieve our goals," he added, praising the team's recent form and passionate support.
