Diomande seals Real Madrid transfer
The Ivorian full-back becomes Leipzig's most expensive sale after agreeing to join Madrid.
The operation is now officially complete: Yan Diomande leaves RB Leipzig and joins Real Madrid as the club's new defensive reinforcement, according to kicker.
The German club will receive a fixed fee of 125 million euros, which can increase to 140 million euros depending on future variables. With this figure, the Ivorian full-back becomes the most expensive transfer ever made by Leipzig, breaking all previous club records.
As we reported earlier, Diomande had already undergone medical tests with the Spanish side once the operation's terms were agreed. His arrival strengthens the Blancos' defence on the left flank.
