Yan Diomande has reported to RB Leipzig's preseason camp in Saalfelden, Austria this Wednesday, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. The Ivorian international centre-back had missed the initial days of the trip due to an infection that kept him sidelined from training.

His initial absence fueled speculation among German media, who saw it as a potential tactical move amid negotiations with Real Madrid. Manager Martín Demichelis had also cited fitness concerns to explain why Diomande didn't play in a friendly over the weekend. Leipzig confirmed on social media that "after overcoming an infection, Yan Diomande has returned to training".

German outlets view his reintegration positively, interpreting it as a sign of professionalism towards the club during this crucial stage of the transfer window. However, a move to Madrid is still considered highly likely. Leipzig is demanding €120 million plus add-ons, a figure that Real Madrid's latest offers have reportedly fallen short of, according to German media.
