Yan Diomande has the clear path to become Real Madrid's latest signing. According to Fabrizio Romano, RB Leipzig has approved the Ivorian centre-back's departure after reaching a deal to sign Kristjan Asllani.
The operation closes around €140 million (€125 million plus €15 million in add-ons), with the defender heading to the capital within the next 24 hours to undergo his medical tests and sign his long-term contract with the Whites. Everything points to this being one of the fastest deals of the January window.
