Jeremy Doku commits to Manchester City with a new contract through 2031 as the winger thrives under Guardiola.
Jeremy Doku has agreed a new contract with Manchester City running until 2031, BBC Sport has confirmed. The 24-year-old Belgian winger, signed from Rennes for £55.4m in 2023, made 48 appearances last season and scored 8 goals as City claimed both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup trophies.
Doku becomes the fourth City player to extend terms this summer, joining Phil Foden, Josko Gvardiol and Abdukodir Khusanov. An official announcement is expected next week.
Meanwhile, Nico Gonzalez has ruled out leaving the club despite speculation about his future. The midfielder, brought in from Porto for £50m in January, dismissed suggestions he could depart: "I'm happy here. I don't want to leave and I think the club wants me to stay," Gonzalez said, per BBC Sport. The 24-year-old played 41 times last season and scored a memorable FA Cup semi-final winner against Southampton.
