Doku signs new Manchester City deal until 2031

Jérémy Doku has renewed his contract with Manchester City through 2031, the English club announced on Thursday. The Belgian winger, whose previous deal was set to expire in 2028, has now committed to the Sky Blues for a further three years.

At 24 years old, Doku has already made 131 appearances for City since arriving in 2023, scoring 22 goals along the way. The player expressed his enthusiasm about the renewal, particularly regarding the arrival of Enzo Maresca: «With Enzo here now, I'm really excited about the new season. His style of football is the kind we love, so it's very exciting for the players,» he said, according to L'Équipe.

Maresca will begin his City reign this Sunday against Arsenal in the Community Shield.
