Dotor returns to Málaga training
Carlos Dotor rejoins partial training with the squad after his knee injury, while Aaron Ochoa is ruled out.
Málaga CF received mixed news from their medical department on Monday. While Aaron Ochoa was ruled out after his injury was confirmed, Carlos Dotor made progress in his recovery by partially rejoining group training, as reported by Sport.
Dotor, sidelined by a grade I injury to the medial collateral ligament of his right knee, participated in part of the squad's session at the club's Annexe facility. The winger was able to take part in tactical drills alongside his teammates, marking a positive step forward ahead of upcoming fixtures.
More absences to contend with
Beyond Ochoa and Dotor, Calero, Murillo, Moussa and Adrián Niño remain undergoing treatment, forcing Juanfran Funes to head to Madrid with a depleted squad to face Atlético de Madrid. The Málaga boss will hold a press conference on Tuesday before the trip, though the situation remains difficult in terms of player availability.
