Edgar González joins Sabadell on loan from Almería

Edgar González, a 29-year-old defender, becomes Sabadell's tenth signing for the upcoming campaign, according to Mundo Deportivo. The centre-back joins on loan from Almería and is expected to bring experience and quality to Ferran Costa's project.

The Catalan has accumulated over 200 appearances in domestic and European competitions. He has played for Real Betis, Oviedo, Almería and Andorra, featuring in LaLiga EA Sports, LaLiga Hypermotion, the Copa del Rey and the Europa League. Last season he was loaned to Hadjuk Split and then Andorra, where he managed only three matches.

González joins an already reinforced defence alongside Pipa, José Luis Catalá, Miki Codina and Óscar Sanz. The club has also signed midfielder Pere Pons and forwards Alain Ribeiro, Xavi Moreno, Yanis Rahmani and Gastón Valles.
