Edouard back fit for PSG showdown; Risser to start

Odsonne Edouard has recovered from the adductor strain that sidelined him last Saturday against Sunderland (0-2) and will travel with Lens to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Trophée des Champions on Sunday at 20:45, according to L'Équipe.

The 28-year-old French striker had sparked concerns after picking up the injury on the dry surface at Bollaert, forcing him to train away from the main group all week. However, his return to full-squad training on Saturday put those fears to rest: he trained at intensity without discomfort, confirming his availability.

Lens' Trophy Bid

Edouard should lead the attack alongside Florian Thauvin (the club's new captain) and Abdallah Sima, while Thorgan Hazard misses out through suspension. The squad also includes Franjo Ivanovic, recently loaned in by Benfica.

In goal, Robin Risser will start for the Artois side. The goalkeeper has completed his recovery since the World Cup and will play his first meaningful minutes in this final. Algerian midfielder Yacine Titraoui will begin on the bench.
