Ejuke back in Sevilla group training

The Nigerian winger returns to work with the squad after weeks sidelined, four days before the league opener.

Chidera Ejuke has rejoined Sevilla's collective training sessions this Tuesday at the training ground, according to MARCA. The Nigerian winger had spent several weeks working separately and did not take part in the Netherlands training camp, but is now back in García Plaza's plans four days before the league debut.

On the injury front, Marcao and Alfon González continue recovering from their respective problems and are not expected back until at least September. The Brazilian defender could even leave this summer if an agreement is reached to terminate his contract, which ties him to the club until June 2028.

Given Sevilla's current shortages, the academy players are playing a key role. Players like Iker Muñoz, Nico Guillén, Edu Altozano, Manuel Ángel, Miguel Sierra and Ibra Sow will remain with the first team until the transfer window closes, and could even feature this Saturday against Rayo Vallecano.
