Andorra signs Hugo López on loan from Villarreal

FC Andorra has announced the signing of Hugo López, a 19-year-old forward on loan from Villarreal until the end of the 2026/27 season, according to Mundo Deportivo. The striker from Murcia, born on March 4, 2007 and a product of Villarreal's academy, joins the Andorran club after featuring in 36 matches in Primera Federación with the yellow team's B side last campaign, scoring three goals and providing four assists.

Hugo López is a versatile offensive player who can operate as a striker, on either flank, or behind the main forward, giving coach Carles Manso fresh attacking options. Despite his age, the new Andorra player already possesses experience in a demanding category like Primera Federación.

The attacker stands out for his technical quality, game vision, and ability to create danger near the opposition box. He arrives in Andorra following a standout summer: he won the UEFA European U-19 Championship with Spain's national team. With his addition, Andorra strengthens its attacking department just days before the official season begins.
