Arsenal pursues Osimhen transfer

Arsenal continues to strengthen its project after winning the Premier League for the first time in 22 years and reaching a Champions League final. The club has now set its sights high in the transfer market with Victor Osimhen on their radar, according to 'The Telegraph'.

The operation could take shape through negotiations with Galatasaray, who own the Nigerian striker. The Turkish club reportedly enquired about Martinelli and Nwaneri, and in the course of these talks Arsenal presented Osimhen's name—a profile that fits perfectly with Mikel Arteta's vision. The deal structure could involve a swap move plus cash.

The transfer remains far from done: just yesterday Galatasaray rejected a €130 million offer from Al Hilal. The key lies in who makes the proposal: Osimhen is said to have agreed to leave only for top European clubs and at a fee below €100 million, something Arsenal could exploit. The 27-year-old striker has scored 59 goals in 74 games for Galatasaray.
