Atlético completes Cuti Romero's registration

Atlético Madrid completed the registration of Cuti Romero in LaLiga on Tuesday, according to Mundo Deportivo. The move came shortly after the club had also finalized the registrations of Kang-in Lee and Arnau Ortiz, clearing all outstanding paperwork so that Diego Simeone has his full squad at his disposal.

The Argentine centre-back was already presented at the club's training ground in Majadahonda on Saturday, just hours after Atlético officially announced his arrival, and completed his first session as a colchonero. However, after barely one training session with the group, all signs point to him missing tomorrow's squad list for Wednesday's league debut against Málaga at the Metropolitano.

His limited involvement in the pre-match training means Romero will need more time to adapt to the Atlético project, although his registration completes the club's transfer market activity ahead of the opening game.
