The 16-year-old midfielder joins on a three-year deal and will begin her journey in the club's academy system.
Barcelona have announced the signing of Danish midfielder Josephine Lamp, just 16 years old, on a three-year contract until 2029, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
Lamp, a Denmark under-17 international, arrives from Nordsjaelland and stands out for her technical quality and distribution skills as a pivot midfielder. The teenager will start with Barcelona's reserve team to continue her development, with the aim of eventually stepping up to the senior squad.
After putting pen to paper at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, alongside sporting director Marc Vivés and academy coordinator Jordi Ventura, Lamp expressed her enthusiasm: «It's wonderful for me to sign for Barcelona. First I have to learn. It will be fun and I'm looking forward to meeting my teammates».
The move reflects Barcelona's strategy of recruiting young European talent for their academy system, where they develop under the club's playing style, a policy that also brought Canadian goalkeeper Khadijah Cissé to the club this summer.
