Celta negotiates Zeballos arrival with optimism

Celta is negotiating the arrival of Exequiel Zeballos from Boca Juniors with optimism, according to MARCA. Although the deal is not yet closed, the player wants to join Vigo and the Galician club is in talks with the Argentine outfit.

The winger meets the technical requirements requested by Claudio Giráldez: pace and the ability to make a difference. Celta views this as a market opportunity to seize now, before the operation becomes more expensive later. Zeballos has four and a half months remaining on his Boca contract.

Vigo are not concerned by his medical history despite some serious injuries in the past: the player is fully recovered. The Argentine, a full international for his country and pursued by several European clubs including Napoli, has chosen Celta. The completion of this deal may not be the only signing if the club manages to offload players, particularly Ilaix Moriba.
