Deportivo renews Hidalgo through 2028

Antonio Hidalgo stays at Deportivo. The Galician club has extended the Catalan manager's contract through 2028, the club announced this afternoon.

From the board, with Fernando Soriano as sporting director and Massimo Benassi as CEO, they stress their commitment to stability. In an official statement, the club states that "the continuity of the coaching staff represents a commitment to stability and consolidation of a project that continues to grow", highlighting that this extension "reinforces a line of work based on trust and growth, with Hidalgo as one of the fundamental pieces of the sports project".

Hidalgo arrived in A Coruña from Huesca just over a year ago. In his first season in charge of Deportivo, he achieved promotion to the top flight, an achievement that has secured his place in the project.
