Espanyol close to signing Kamate from Inter

Espanyol are on the verge of completing the signing of Issiaka Kamate, a French midfielder from Inter, according to Matteo Moretto. The transfer is valued at around €3 million, though Espanyol will only acquire 50% of the player's rights, with Inter retaining the other half.

Kamate, born in 2004 and currently 22 years old, stands out for his physical presence and versatility across different positions on the pitch. Last season he played for Inter's Primavera team, recording 5 goals and 3 assists in 33 Serie C matches. He made his debut with Inter's first team in February as a right winger.

This would be the fifth summer signing for the Barcelona-based club following Calatrava, Moscardo, Hartman and Unai Núñez, strengthening midfield options under manager Manolo González.
