Rayo eyes Pedrosa to strengthen left-back position

The clearance operation at Sevilla is picking up pace, and Adrià Pedrosa is among those deemed surplus to requirements by Luis García Plaza. According to Matteo Moretto, Rayo Vallecano have set their sights on the Catalan defender after Pep Chavarría joined Chelsea and Pacha Espino departed for Racing Club.

Pedrosa, who arrived at the Sánchez Pizjuán on a free transfer from Espanyol, has a contract until 2028 but finds his path blocked at left-back by Suazo, Oso, and the signing of Julio Díaz. The Madrid side are seeking reinforcements in that position following the departures of their full-backs.

Sevilla would prefer a permanent transfer or contract termination, though they remain open to alternatives such as a loan deal that would suit Rayo's financial reality, as reported by Matteo Moretto. The full-back has made 75 official appearances across all competitions for Sevilla, including Champions League matches.
