Rayo Vallecano confirm Chavarría's exit to Chelsea

Rayo Vallecano have officially confirmed the departure of Pep Chavarría to Chelsea, sealing the deal the Madrid club accepted a week ago. According to MARCA, the transfer fee stands at €21+3 million, money Chelsea had to pay after activating the player's release clause.

Chavarría leaves after four seasons at Vallecas, where he made 125 appearances and established himself as a key piece in left defence.
