Real Madrid travel to Germany on Sunday, August 16 to take on Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen at 17.00. It will be the final pre-season friendly before the official start of La Liga, scheduled for August 22 against Espanyol in Barcelona.
Mbappé and Diomande ready for debuts
According to Mundo Deportivo, Mbappé and Diomande will be available to make their Real Madrid debuts in the clash against the German side after completing their integration into training. Cucurella and Konaté are also expected to play their first minutes in Gelsenkirchen.
Mourinho's main concerns centre on Bellingham and Tchouaméni. The English midfielder joined group training earlier in the week and his inclusion will depend on how the sessions develop. The French midfielder is recovering from muscular discomfort and, while he will be fit for the league debut, remains a doubt for Sunday.
Confirmed absences for Gelsenkirchen
Absent from the Germany trip are injured players Asencio, Mendy, Rodrygo, Thiago and Militao, who will continue their recovery in Madrid.
