Udinese joins race for Juan Jesús

Deportivo continues hunting for an experienced left-footed centre-back, but competition for Juan Jesús is heating up. According to Sport, Udinese has thrown their hat in the ring for the Brazilian defender and tabled a one-season contract offer.

Jesús, who departed Napoli after his contract expired, finds himself wanted by several Italian sides. Alongside the Friuli club, Venezia has also expressed interest. The 37-year-old, seasoned by spells at Inter, Roma and Napoli, shows a clear preference for staying in Italy, though Deportivo from Galicia are also pursuing him as a defensive reinforcement.
