Endrick stays at Madrid and rejects loan move

Real Madrid has put the brakes on any departure for Endrick in this transfer window. According to The Athletic and As, it was the Madrid club, backed by José Mourinho, who informed the 20-year-old Brazilian striker that he will not leave, ruling out loan proposals on the table from Roma and Aston Villa.

The international will stay at the Bernabéu despite intense competition in attack. With Vinícius, Mbappé, Diomandé, Espí, Brahim and injured Rodrygo on the books, Endrick will find it very difficult to secure quality minutes. Madrid even sealed the signing of Carlos Espí in a lightning-quick operation after Gonzalo García departed for Fulham.

The winger's progression has stalled despite his strong performances at Lyon last season. It is not ruled out that if he fails to get playing time in the opening months of competition, a departure could be sought in the January transfer window.
