Ferran Torres agrees five-year deal with PSG

The operation is moving fast. Ferran Torres has reached an agreement in principle with PSG for a five-year contract, as confirmed by L'Équipe. The Barcelona forward informed his club's board of his decision, and now the Catalan side must finalize the financial terms with the Parisians.

Negotiations between both clubs are at an advanced stage but no final deal is yet in place. PSG will offer approximately 115 million euros to Barcelona for the transfer. At 26 years old with 25 goals in 65 appearances for Spain, Torres brings tactical versatility: he can play on the wings or centrally, something that would expand PSG's options.

Torres' departure would be a significant blow to Barcelona, where he was the club's top scorer in La Liga last season with 16 goals, following the recent exit of Robert Lewandowski.
