📷 Mundo DeportivoFerran Torres in final stretch toward PSG
The Barcelona forward and PSG close their personal agreement for five years while the clubs negotiate the final fee.
The operation is advancing. Ferran Torres continues to train away from Barcelona for a second consecutive day with Hansi Flick's permission, and as we reported, he already has a personal agreement with PSG for five years. Now the two clubs need to settle the financial terms.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Parisian club has tabled a final offer of €50 million, a figure the Barcelona board would be quite happy with. However, those in charge at Camp Nou still aren't certain the deal will close this Thursday.
Barcelona would benefit from wrapping up this sale to have financial firepower for a decisive push on the Rodri operation. Manchester City is holding firm at €70-80 million fixed, while the Catalans have bid up to €65 million in variables (€55+10 or €60+5). The money from Ferran could be the key to unlocking that negotiation.
