Ferran Torres heads to PSG after Foios mural unveiling

The Spanish forward travels to Paris to undergo medical tests before his €50m transfer from Barcelona to PSG.

Ferran Torres is on the verge of completing his move from FC Barcelona to PSG. According to Mundo Deportivo, both clubs reached an agreement on Thursday for a fee close to €50 million, with the Parisians expecting to announce the transfer this weekend once the Spanish striker passes his medical examination scheduled for Saturday.

While preparing for this new chapter, Ferran is enjoying a moment of glory in his hometown. Foios, a small village in Valencia province, has unveiled a mural in his honor, featuring the player lifting the World Cup trophy following his decisive goal against Argentina in the final on July 19. The local Sports Department has immortalized the town's most famous footballer, who received an official tribute just over a week ago.

With Luis Enrique in Paris

Ferran arrives at PSG for a five-season adventure under Luis Enrique, who showed similar confidence in him during his time as Spanish national team coach. At Parc des Princes, he will find a star-studded attacking lineup featuring players like Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Désiré Doué, alongside new arrivals. The club is also close to sealing the transfer of Belgian winger Mika Godts from Ajax for €55 million, so internal competition will be intense.
