The Spanish forward makes his debut on the Paris training pitch after his official signing from Barcelona for €50 million.
The saga is over. Ferran Torres is now officially a Paris Saint-Germain player until 2031, and he didn't waste any time: on Sunday he was already training under Luis Enrique, who gave him a warm welcome in the session.
The forward took to the pitch alongside Ousmane Dembélé, his former Barcelona teammate, and was all smiles on his Paris debut. He also connected with Fabián Ruiz, with whom he won the World Cup with Spain, and went through the classic welcome gauntlet from his new teammates.
Ambition from day one
Ferran spoke for the first time as a PSG player, displaying all his ambition: «I'm very happy to embark on a new adventure with such an ambitious club as Paris Saint-Germain. I want to thank president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Luis Campos and coach Luis Enrique for giving me the opportunity to join this team, which I hope to help win as many trophies as possible».
According to Mundo Deportivo, the transfer leaves around €50 million for Barcelona, becoming the fifth-largest sale in the club's history and providing the Catalan side with significant funds to complete their squad.
