Forest complete Diomande signing from Sporting

Nottingham Forest sign Ivory Coast defender Ousmane Diomande from Sporting Lisbon for a reported £34m fee.

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Ousmane Diomande, a 22-year-old Ivory Coast defender, from Portuguese club Sporting. According to BBC Sport, the deal is worth a reported £34 million.

The defender has signed a four-year contract with Forest, with the option to extend for an additional year. "I am very happy to be here. It is a historic club and that motivates me. I believe we can achieve great things this season," said Diomande, who recently represented Ivory Coast at the 2026 World Cup.

Diomande arrives at the City Ground after making 132 first-team appearances for Sporting and earning 15 caps for his national team.
