Galán and Durán training with the group and set for Valencia

Javi Galán and Pablo Durán are progressing well in their recovery. According to MARCA, both Celta players are already training normally with the squad and have a strong chance of receiving medical clearance this week to travel to Valencia, where the Galicians will play this Saturday at Mestalla in their La Liga season opener.

The path for each player

Durán underwent surgery on May 27 for left shoulder instability but has accelerated his recovery timeline. Galán, meanwhile, suffered a low-grade muscle tear in his left thigh exactly a month ago during the first preseason friendly in Braga.

Claudio Giráldez expects to have virtually his entire squad available for his domestic league debut, though Borja Iglesias will arrive with less than two weeks of preparation after joining late following his World Cup final appearance.
