García, García and Gordon return to training early

Barcelona is enjoying a rest day this Sunday following Saturday's friendly in Udine, but the Ciutat Esportiva will have plenty of activity nonetheless. According to Mundo Deportivo, Eric García and Joan García are back ahead of schedule for their first preseason training session, originally planned for next Wednesday the 12th.

Anthony Gordon, the club's recent English signing who arrived in the city last Friday, is also making the most of the session. The three represent the main additions on the pitch today at Can Barça, though they won't be alone: Gavi has already been training since Thursday, six days ahead of the official calendar.

Hansi Flick has given most of the squad a well-earned day off after the weekend action, but some players are keen to build their fitness levels ahead of the new season.
