Gerenabarrena trains with the squad and travels to Marseille

Gerenabarrena has returned to normal training after his muscle discomfort in the Athletic Club friendly against Burgos. According to MARCA, the Basque midfielder worked without issues on Friday at Lezama and is available for Terzic for the penultimate preseason match.

The Athletic will travel on Saturday by charter flight to Marseille to face Olympique de Marseille on Sunday. The club continues without its World Cup winners in the regular squad rotation, so Friday's session included two differentiated groups with separate training tasks at Lezama's facilities.

The French club's management has issued security measures for the match: there will be no separation of supporters, and Athletic colors will be banned both inside the stadium and in its surroundings.
