Getafe draws with Tottenham and concludes preseason in good form

Getafe wrapped up their summer preparation with a draw against Tottenham at the Spurs' training ground, according to MARCA. Bordalás' men conclude a strong preseason that included matches against Atlético Madrid and Monaco.

The first half saw the azulones mostly on the back foot, with David Soria rarely troubled between the posts. The second half brought much more intensity. Alberto Risco, from Getafe's B team, broke the deadlock in the 55th minute after receiving a fine pass from Curro, finishing first-time past Kinsky. Minutes later, in the 59th, Gallagher — the former Atlético Madrid player — levelled the match.

The Madrid side now face a busy late August with up to five matches ahead. Next Saturday they travel to Alavés under Quique Sánchez Flores, and five days later they debut in the Conference League, likely against Partizan.
