Getafe and Alavés join Espanyol in race for Arévalo

Three LaLiga clubs compete for striker Jeremy Arévalo on loan from Stuttgart after his impressive season at Racing.

The battle for Jeremy Arévalo is heating up in LaLiga. According to Mundo Deportivo, Getafe under José Bordalás and Alavés under Quique Sánchez Flores have joined Espanyol in the race for the Stuttgart striker, following his strong loan spell at Racing de Santander, where he scored 8 goals last season.

All three clubs are looking to bolster their attacking options. Getafe currently have Martín Satriano and Borja Mayoral, while Alavés can count on Toni Martínez, Lucas Boyé and Mariano Díaz. Espanyol would need him to compete with Roberto and Marcos Fernández.

However, Stuttgart has set clear conditions for any potential loan move. The German side would require clubs to cover Arévalo's full salary, which stands at around €1.8 million, plus guarantee him regular playing time. This last clause could complicate matters, particularly for Espanyol.
