Gorrotxategi and Pacheco ready for Betis opener

Jon Gorrotxategi and Jon Pacheco have returned to Real Sociedad training after recovering from the muscle problems that had kept them out. According to MARCA, both academy graduates took part in the first session ahead of their LaLiga debut this Friday against Real Betis at La Cartuja, opening the door for them to be available for Pellegrino Matarazzo.

The positive news comes with a caveat: while the two young players get back on track, Gonçalo Guedes remains absent. The Portuguese winger continues to miss group training, meaning the American coach won't be able to call on him for the league's opening match. Real face their first game of the season with defensive reinforcements coming back but without one of their attacking assets.
