Haise extends Rennes contract until 2028

Stade Rennais have announced the extension of Franck Haise as head coach through 2028, according to L'Équipe. The 55-year-old French manager arrived at the Breton club in February following his spell at OGC Nice, replacing Habib Beye, who moved to Marseille. His original deal was set to expire in 2027, but has now been extended by an additional season.

During his opening months in charge at Rennes, Haise has recorded 8 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats, guiding the club to sixth place in Ligue 1 and securing direct qualification for the Europa League. The renewal underscores the Breton side's commitment to continuity at a time when other top clubs are experiencing frequent managerial changes.

This is not Haise's first return to the club: between 2006 and 2012 he worked as an academy coach at Rennes, reinforcing his ties to the institution.
