Iker Venteo heads to Estonia on loan
The Sporting goalkeeper will play this season at JK Narva Trans in the Estonian top division.
Iker Venteo is on his way to Estonia to join JK Narva Trans, as reported by Sport. The goalkeeper arrives on loan from Sporting Gijon after joining the Gijón side last summer following spells in Real Sociedad's youth academy and a season at Algeciras.
Venteo has already made appearances for Sporting's first team. Last season he made his debut in a Copa del Rey match against Caudal de Mieres, a game Gijón won 0-1 after an injury to Yáñez opened the door for him. He made just seven appearances with the B team while acting as third-choice goalkeeper, though he was a regular in training sessions and squad selections.
In Estonia he will share the squad with Spanish coach David Campaña. JK Narva Trans are currently in the relegation zone in the Estonian League, sitting in last place nine points from safety, though they still have games in hand to turn their situation around.
