Inter completes Djed Spence signing from Tottenham for £30m

Inter Milan have completed the agreement for Djed Spence: the deal closes at £30m, according to Sky Sports. Tottenham have included a 10% sell-on clause on future transfers.

Spence travelled to Italy to undergo his medical and the move was finalised after months of negotiations. The English full-back arrives in Milan following a standout World Cup with England, where they finished third in Qatar. At Spurs he struggled for game time amid competition from Pedro Porro on the right and options like Udogie or Andy Robertson on the left.

Inter sought a right wing-back option after failing to land Moussa Diaby from Al Ittihad. Spence, with three years remaining on his Spurs contract plus a renewal option, had previously enjoyed a loan spell with Genoa between January and June 2024. Tottenham signed him from Middlesbrough in summer 2022 for up to £20m.
