📷 Mundo DeportivoIván Martín on the radar of two LaLiga clubs after Girona's relegation
The Basque midfielder, 27, is attracting interest from top-flight clubs and foreign teams following the Catalan side's drop to the second division.
Girona will lose one of their best players during the summer window. Iván Martín, a 27-year-old Basque midfielder, is set to leave Montilivi after the Catalans' relegation, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Two LaLiga clubs are firmly interested in the player: Rayo Vallecano, which is launching a new project under Beñat San José, and Racing Santander, back in the top flight with José Alberto López in charge. Both see the midfielder as a key piece for their plans.
The interest, however, extends beyond Spanish football. Greek Panathinaikos is closely monitoring his situation, and several Turkish Super Lig clubs are also waiting to see what happens. Although Iván Martín is under contract with Girona until June 2028, all parties could reach an agreement if the right offer comes along.
