Iván Romero's brace settles Levante's final pre-season test

Levante wrapped up their pre-season preparations with a convincing win against Castellón at La Coma training ground, according to MARCA. Iván Romero was the standout performer with two goals that decided the match.

Under Luís Castro, the side fielded a completely different lineup from their morning session against the reserve team (won 1-0 thanks to Bardeli) and showed their superiority from the outset. Romero struck early in the 5th minute, but Castellón levelled through Antonio Gala's long-range effort at the 33-minute mark. After the break, Iván Romero restored Levante's lead with his second goal on 56 minutes.

The home team's dominance became increasingly apparent in the second half. With ten minutes remaining, 17-year-old academy prospect Nacho Pérez, who has impressed throughout pre-season, sealed the 3-1 victory with a header from a corner. Castellón offered little threat beyond a Vlak attempt that Ryan comfortably saved.
