Ivanovic joins Lens on loan from Benfica

RC Lens have officially confirmed the signing of Franjo Ivanovic on loan from Benfica for the upcoming season without a purchase option. The 22-year-old Croatian striker becomes the Sang et Or's sixth summer recruit, as reported by L'Équipe.

Ivanovic, who has earned nine caps for Croatia with two international goals, is a versatile forward capable of operating across multiple attacking positions. He is known for his pressing intensity and clinical finishing. In his previous spells at Union Saint-Gilloise and Benfica, he built a solid record: he won the Belgian league with Brussels (scoring four goals in Europa League, including one against Nice) and contributed eight goals and three assists in 43 matches for Lisbon's side.
