Joan Jordán bids farewell to Seville heading to Portugal

The Catalan midfielder closes his spell at Nervión after six years and 203 matches with an emotional goodbye letter.

Joan Jordán has officially announced his departure from Sevilla on social media. The midfielder, now a Estrela Amadora player in Portugal, leaves after six seasons wearing the white-and-red shirt since 2019.

In a heartfelt letter, the Catalan recalls his achievements at Nervión: 203 official matches, two UEFA Europa League titles (2020 and 2023), Champions League experience, and the pride of playing and scoring in Europe's top competition. "I leave with my head held high and a clear conscience because I always gave everything for Sevilla FC", writes Jordán, who also highlights reaching the 200-game milestone with the club.

In his farewell, the midfielder emphasizes the emotional bond built: "I feel Sevillian and I feel Sevillista. My children were born here, we built our family life here". He closes with a touching "Always 'uno di voi'", making clear that although their paths separate, a part of him will always remain Sevillista.
