The Argentine completed his second training session under Simeone's orders, being the only striker available after Sorloth's injury.
Julián Álvarez continues his adaptation at Atlético Madrid without issues. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Argentine completed his second training session under Diego Pablo Simeone's management at the Cerro del Espino training ground, with complete normality.
The session began with activation exercises led by fitness coach Luis Piñedo. In it, Álvarez was the only available striker that Simeone had, as Alexander Sorloth could not participate due to a muscle injury. Therefore, Simeone had other offensive options such as Lookman, Arnau Ortiz, Baena or Kang-in Lee for the more advanced positions.
Also missing from training was Matteo Ruggeri, who was absent with the club's permission to finalize his move to Aston Villa for €18 million plus six in variables.
