The South Korean winger completed his first training session with the Madrid side ahead of Manchester City friendly.
Kang-in Lee took part in his first training session with Atlético Madrid on Friday in South Korea, as the team prepares for Sunday's friendly against Manchester City, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The former PSG winger arrived in good physical condition after training with a club-assigned fitness coach back home. During a practice match Simeone ran to test different setups, Kang-in formed part of the backup team in attack alongside Arnau Ortiz. The other XI tested by the Argentine manager featured Oblak; Dominguez, Le Normand, Hancko, Dani Martínez; Carlos Martín, Koke, Hjulmand, Obed Vargas; Lookman and Sergio Esteban.
His integration is progressing smoothly: the South Korean welcomed the squad at the hotel on Thursday and has already shown strong chemistry with Hjulmand, another recent signing. This will be Atlético's third pre-season friendly, following a 4-1 win over Getafe and a 2-1 loss to Manchester United.
