Kembo officially leaves Sporting on loan to Huesca

Yann Kembo has officially left Sporting Gijon. The French defender joins Huesca on loan in the Primera Federación, with the Aragonese club holding a future option to purchase him permanently.

Kembo was not in manager Nicolás Larcamón's plans, and both player and club have been exploring options since the summer to find a solution that worked for both sides. The centre-back had already been loaned to Ibiza in January for game time before returning to Gijón as one of the main candidates to depart.

After a month without concrete options, according to La Nueva España, Huesca stepped in to negotiate the loan deal. Sporting believe Kembo has no place in their current squad and that the best move is for him to gain minutes in a competitive lower division. With this departure, the Gijón club closes its sales and loan chapter and focuses on two planned signings before the market closes.
