Kerolin: "I couldn't believe it when Barcelona called me"

Kerolin Nicoli was presented on Wednesday as FC Barcelona's new player. The Brazilian forward, arriving from Manchester City, signed a contract until 2030 and expressed her excitement about this opportunity.

"When they first told me Barcelona wanted me, I couldn't believe it, especially because I still had a contract with City. But when I saw it could happen, I got very emotional and decided to go for it—it's an opportunity you can't pass up," the player said in her first statements, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

The signing, worth approximately €1.2 million, makes her one of the most expensive transfers in Barça's history. Kerolin also revealed that playing at the same club where her idols Ronaldinho and Neymar played is "a dream," and she expressed enthusiasm about playing alongside teammates like Aitana, Pajor, and Patri.
